Please notice that even if you do not need a visa to visit Finland, you need a valid passport or some other travel document accepted by Finland. It must be valid for at least three (3) months after your intended date of departure (exception Eu nationals and Schengen country nationals holding a passport or national ID card which is valid for the duration of stay).
In addition, the passport or other travel document must have been issued no later than ten years ago.
The following country requires visa to enter Finland:
SRB (visa free regime applies only if they are holders of biometric passports)
Visas should be obtained before leaving your country, from Finnish Embassy well in advance to ensure all the procedures in due time.
Participants who require a visa should contact the LOC as soon as possible to obtain a special invitation letter and visa application information.

The following information shall be included in the request:
- Full name (first name and family name as shown in passport);
- Gender;
- Date of birth;
- Passport Number and Passport Expiry Date (passports should be valid at least 3 months after the end of competition and it should been issued no later than ten (10) years ago);
- Function in the Team (athlete or official).
The invitation will be sent to you as soon as possible.
